Tsuzuki Electric Co., Ltd. and IBM Japan, Ltd. signed an AI partnership agreement on March 12.
Amidst the emergence of social challenges such as labor shortages, environmental problems, and security risks, companies are required to transform rapidly, and in particular, how to integrate AI into their business and IT strategies is becoming increasingly important.
Tsuzuki Electric has focused on the practical application and utilization of advanced technologies, including AI, as part of its journey towards becoming a “Growth Navigator,” which is its long-term vision. Since May 2024, it has established a Generative AI Working Group and is promoting the implementation of generative AI into its own services and the innovation of its AI-driven development style in collaboration with various partners.
Meanwhile, IBM Japan, leveraging its extensive track record both domestically and internationally, aims to contribute to society through the creation of new value, promoting co-creation with customers and business partners through the utilization of advanced technologies, including AI.

Amid growing expectations for corporate growth through the use of AI, we have entered into this partnership to further accelerate collaboration and co-creation that leverages the strengths of both companies, and to enhance the value we provide to society.
Going forward, the two companies will collaborate on the co-creation of services encompassing everything from strategy and planning to environment construction, implementation, operation, and maintenance, focusing on the themes of “AI x Voice Communication” and “AI x Modernization.” They will also promote multifaceted collaboration based on co-creation, with a view to joint service proposals and personnel exchanges.
Furthermore, Tsuzuki Electric will leverage AI technology to further evolve its solution development to meet customer needs and incorporate it into industry-specific services, thereby creating new value that benefits its customers.
日本IBM will accelerate its support for Tsuzuki Electric‘s long-term vision, “Growth Navigator,” by providing technological insights.
