Alpha Purchase Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of its new upload search function for its Infinite Catalog, effective April 28th. This will significantly contribute to improving the efficiency of our customers’ indirect materials purchasing operations.
Indirect materials, compared to direct materials, are characterized by a large number of items and diverse types despite having lower unit prices, making efficient purchasing operations a challenge. To address these unique challenges of indirect material purchasing, our company has been providing various solutions to our customers since its founding. In particular, our Mugen Catalog, with its cross-catalog comparison of the same product across multiple catalogs and automatic replacement with the cheapest item, has been widely used by many customers as a system that makes the often voluminous and complicated process of indirect material purchasing simple and rational.
The “Upload Search” feature, which we are adding to the Infinite Catalog, allows you to search for products simply by dragging and dropping an Excel file containing the product information you want to search into. This significantly improves efficiency by allowing you to search and order a large number of items at once, which previously had to be done one by one. Of course, the existing feature of automatically replacing target products with the cheapest available items remains in place, contributing to cost reduction.
