Zenport Inc. is releasing “ZenRead,” an AI-BPO service that combines AI technology with human expertise, as a new feature of “ZENPORT,” a data hub that centrally manages all data in the global supply chain.
This service automates the normalization process of converting import document data, such as order, shipping, and product data, into core data, a process that has long been carried out manually, and provides an innovative solution to a key industry challenge: structuring unstructured data in global supply chains.
Data processing challenges in global supply chains
According to surveys by Gartner and other organizations, 80 to 90 percent of the data handled by companies is unstructured. In particular, in global supply chains, processing large amounts of unstructured data, including shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, and certificates of origin, has been done manually for many years.
