ASK Corporation and i4labo Inc. have begun a pioneering partnership centered on digital twin technology, integrating NVIDIA Omniverse libraries and APIs into i4labo’s innovative digital twin platform. By linking edge devices with the Robot Operating System (ROS), the partnership aims to achieve complete synchronization between the real world and virtual space.
Overcoming the barriers to digital twin implementation
While the on-site implementation of digital twin technology requires advanced expertise, the current situation is that even a basic understanding of the Robot Operating System (ROS) is not widespread. Based on this, iFOR Lab has established a consistent system that covers everything from basic ROS education to edge device design and implementation, as well as integration support with NVIDIA Omniverse, to provide strong support for the on-site implementation of digital twin technology.

NVIDIA Omniverse for Digital Twins and Simulation
NVIDIA Omniverse is a platform of libraries and APIs for building applications for physical AI, such as industrial digitalization and robotics. This collaboration between ASK and iFOR Labs will enable the operation of edge devices controlled by ROS and the behavior of physical AI to be reproduced and simulated in real time on NVIDIA Omniverse, realizing new efficiency improvements in design, verification, and operation.
