Cheniere Energy, Inc. and JERA Co., Inc. Cheniere Marketing, LLC and JERA have announced a long-term LNG sale and purchase agreement. JERA will buy about 1.0 million tonnes of LNG each year from Cheniere. This deal is free-on-board. Deliveries will start in 2029 and last until 2050. The pricing is indexed to the Henry Hub benchmark, plus a fixed liquefaction fee.

They are Japan’s biggest power producer and one of the largest LNG buyers in the world.” This SPA boosts our strong relationship. We’ve built it on years of cooperation and dependable LNG trade. We look forward to providing JERA with flexible, reliable, cleaner-burning LNG until 2050.”
