Upstage and NetApp have signed a strategic MOU that basically sets them up to work together on AI driven document workflows for the Japanese market. Upstage brings its document AI stack. NetApp brings its data management muscle. This refers to the insurance, manufacturing, and public administration fields.
The collaboration has two big pieces. First is a joint reference architecture. Both companies plan to build and publish a setup that pulls together Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP with Upstage Document Parse and its LLM tech. The idea is to help companies expand their AI ready data infrastructure without wasting time and to make document automation more dependable.
