Infoport Co., Ltd. has joined the Spice Factory Co., Ltd. group as of March 18, 2026. This is not just a structural move; it is a signal of where logistics tech is heading next.
Infoport has spent close to two decades building cloud solutions around transportation and warehouse management. That means real operational exposure, not just software built in isolation. Now, by coming under Spice Factory, the plan is to layer in stronger UI and UX capabilities along with generative AI to upgrade how these systems actually work on the ground.
The timing is not random. The logistics industry is already under pressure from the so called 2024 problem, and projections suggest a possible 34 percent shortfall in domestic transport capacity by 2030. Add sustainability concerns on top of that and the cracks start to show. Systems that were ‘good enough’ are now slowing things down.

Infoport is combining its management restructuring with group integration by selecting a new representative director. Existing leadership will stay involved to maintain continuity, with former representative Toru Oka continuing in an advisory role.
