Agence MAO, short for Mon Activité Optimisée has announced that it is launching an AI virtual assistance and administrative automation suite. This suite is aimed at tradespeople, independent professionals and small businesses. The Guadeloupe-based company is set to grow beyond the Caribbean reaching French‑speaking markets in Europe and North America.
Founded by Christophe Garnier Agence MAO focuses on businesses where employees often work away from desks and cannot always answer customer calls or finish tasks during normal hours. The software from Agence MAO includes an AI secretary and tools, for scheduling appointments creating invoices, processing receipts and qualifying leads.
AI Virtual Secretary Manages Calls and Appointments
The main part of the platform is an AI-based secretary that is meant to handle calls all day and all night. According to Agence MAO the system can answer calls in than two seconds block sales calls set up appointments in a professionals calendar and check how important each request is.
If there is a call it can be sent to the business owners phone. Voicemails are sent through the users app and the system can deal with calls at the same time.
The company also has a voice option that lets the virtual secretary use the business owners voice and usual ways of talking when speaking with customers.
For workers like plumbers, electricians and people in construction the idea is built around a problem they face every day: keeping in touch with customers while they are working on a job.
Converting Voice Notes into Invoices
In addition, to phone help Agence MAO is using AI to do tasks that take up a lot of time for businesses. One of the features is a receipt scanning tool. Professionals can take pictures of their receipts. The system then finds the amounts and taxes saves the documents and gets them ready to send to an accounting firm. The platform also sends messages through WhatsApp that are based on voice. These messages are automatically written down so they are easy to read and understand.
Another feature turns voice messages from a smartphone into invoices. Customers can receive a link to pay with a card away. The system also sends payment reminders. Gives business owners a clear view of what payments are coming in. Companies can even ask for deposits when finalizing quotes.
Agence MAO says these tools are designed to help businesses meet the demands tied to France’s new e-invoicing rules.
Lead Qualification and Business Operations
Agence MAO also offers a lead-qualification module. It checks requests, including budget details before booking appointments. The goal is to cut down on visits that don’t lead to work. This way professionals can focus on the chances, for business.
Once a job is finished and approved by the professional the system can ask the customer to leave a Google review. There’s also a Business Pack feature. It lets employees and partners log expenses and add field notes directly through the app.
The platform is built in modules. This means businesses don’t have to use everything at. Agence MAO says the virtual secretary is the base. All other features can be added later depending on what each business needs.
From Guadeloupe to French-Speaking Markets
The international rollout reaches the Caribbean French-speaking Europe—including France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg—and French-speaking North America. The platform supports payment methods like Bancontact and TWINT the company says.
Agence MAO also says its platform uses encrypted data. Follows European GDPR rules and Switzerland’s nFADP regulations.

This expansion shows a trend in small-business software: artificial intelligence is being used more in real administrative tasks not just for writing content or powering chatbots. For businesses, with tight administrative teams having automated phone handling, accounting prep and invoicing can bring many separate jobs together into one smooth workflow.
For trades this shift shows how AI tools are now entering field work. Workers can use smartphones, voice commands and automated back-office functions without needing to go to a desk.
Agence MAO’s international launch puts AI assistance into the hands of small businesses. It takes a solution first built in Guadeloupe. Brings it to a wider French-speaking audience.
