Basic has launched ferret Sales Agent, an AI-powered tool designed to handle many of the repetitive tasks that surround sales activities. The platform supports company research, proposal preparation, meeting recording, note-taking, follow-up email creation, sales analysis, and improvement recommendations.
A major focus is reducing manual work tied to SFA and CRM systems. Once the tool is plugged into existing platforms, it can automatically sort meeting data, crank out quick summaries, refresh records, and line up follow-up actions with only small amounts of input, from the sales teams.

This launch also shows a bigger push toward using AI for workflow automation not only as content generation. By cutting down on manual data entry tasks and making sales records more consistent, the platform is trying to boost visibility across the sales team.
