LCB LLC is teaming up with J-Stream Co., Ltd. to scale how regional content is managed and distributed. The partnership is built around growing the Local Content Bank system and making it more usable across industries.
The problem they are trying to solve is not new. The local authorities and broadcast companies and business organizations produce content which lacks effective systems for proper organization and distribution and actual content usage needs. A lot of valuable regional storytelling just sits unused or fragmented.
LCB’s model is to centralize this content on the cloud and make it accessible across platforms. It already includes a wide range of video material covering tourism, food, culture, industry, and everyday life across regions. The system has been in pilot testing since 2024 with support from J-Stream, and now both are moving into full-scale rollout.

The roles are clearly split. LCB will handle business operations and user growth. Jストリーム will run the system, support the tech side, and assist on sales. Together, they are aiming to improve how local content is distributed, used, and even expanded into new use cases, both in Japan and beyond.
