ダッタラ Inc. will begin offering the closed alpha version (invitation-only) of “Fractale,” a new data collaboration platform that utilizes spatiotemporal IDs to handle domestic and international open data across borders, from December 17, 2025.
At Startup Japan 2025 Osaka, which will be held in Osaka in 2025, we will exhibit a demo based on Fractale’s concept and closed alpha version, and give a preview of the future vision of the next-generation open data platform.
Fractaleは、世界中の関連するオープンデータセットを一度の検索で閲覧できるオープンデータプラットフォームです。ユーザーは興味のあるデータセットを選択することで、発行元、地域、期間、ライセンスなどのメタデータを、自分の環境（ノートパソコン、クラウド環境など）で分析に利用できる形式で取得することができます。ユーザーは、BIツールや機械学習、アプリケーション開発などですぐにデータを活用することができます。.

Fractale will implement spatiotemporal IDs in open data worldwide, in line with the Japanese Data Space Initiative , which is being promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and is centered around spatiotemporal IDs. By assigning common “time” and “location” information to data, it will create a situation where data from different fields can be treated in the same context. This will provide an environment where information that is normally managed separately, such as tourism and transportation, disaster prevention and demographics, urban development and economic indicators, can be easily linked and analyzed.
インターフェイスや主要なドキュメントは日本語と英語の両方で提供され、日本の自治体職員から海外の研究者・開発者まで、誰でも同じ環境で利用することができます。2026年3月までに、日本を含む3カ国のオープンデータに対応し、順次対象国・地域を拡大することで、グローバルに利用できるデータプラットフォームを目指します。.
