UNICORN Inc., a subsidiary of Adways Inc., has partnered with SeenThis Japan Inc., which provides the adaptive streaming service “SeenThis,” to begin supporting the improvement of advertising performance and contribution to sustainability. By utilizing SeenThis, it is possible to improve the delivery performance of advertising campaigns and visualize and reduce the CO₂ emissions generated during ad delivery.
SeenThis is a Swedish company that provides next-generation video ad delivery technology using its proprietary adaptive streaming technology. In October 2024, SeenThis Japan was established and began full-scale support for improving advertising performance and sustainability in the Japanese market.
This collaboration will enable UNICORN to deliver high-speed, data-saving ads using SeenThis‘s streaming technology. This will not only improve performance, but also enhance the user experience while reducing data transfer volume on a campaign-by-campaign basis, and contributing to reducing and visualizing CO2 emissions.

This is a new form of advertising management that can also be used in conjunction with the Emissions Trading Scheme, which is scheduled to be fully introduced in 2026 and will require companies to bear a financial burden for their CO2 emissions, and is an initiative that will also contribute to companies achieving their sustainability goals.
