NTT Docomo Business has launched ‘docomo business APN Plus powered by IOWN.’ This new network service addresses the growing demands of AI-based digital infrastructure. Launching on October 1, this service uses All-Photonics Network (APN) technology from the IOWN (Innovative Optical and Wireless Network) concept. It offers high bandwidth, low latency, and stable communication for the AI era.
The platform offers on-demand bandwidth scaling. This helps businesses change network capacity as AI workloads and autonomous AI agents create different traffic. It offers fixed-rate options from 10Gbps to 800Gbps. Plans are in place to expand up to 1.2Tbps. It also features a Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) model. This allows you to adjust bandwidth easily through a portal or API. This flexibility works well for container-type data centers. It also suits GPU clusters, which are used more often for AI training and private data operations.
