Canon S&S and G-COM boost digital nursing solutions

Canon System & Support has entered into a capital and business alliance with G-COM. G-COM provides wireless systems for medical and nursing care. The goal is to support safety and security for residents and push digital transformation in nursing care facilities. Canon S&S will use its products and digital support system together with G-COM’s wireless technology and video solutions. This includes wireless nurse call services and monitoring tools.

In nursing care, the company helps operators introduce ICT. This addresses issues like labor shortages, record-keeping, and the burden of night monitoring.

G-COM has been developing wireless solutions since 1992. Its focus is wireless networks for elderly care facilities and medical institutions. Its wireless nurse call system, Coco Helper, uses smartphones and wireless tech. It also has a monitoring function, allowing staff to respond faster and more efficiently.
