OC1 is located within 3km of the Shinsaibashi and Dojima areas, which are home to a concentration of public cloud access points in the Kansai region, and will be a ” connectivity data center ” with excellent access to various cloud services, communication services, and IXs. The installation of ARTERIA’s optical fiber cable will enable customers to choose from a variety of connection methods that best suit their needs. It also supports redundant configurations that combine ARTERIA’s optical fiber with other routes, improving reliability and availability.

Furthermore, through ARTERIA‘s domestic optical fiber network, it will provide a low-latency, high-quality dedicated line service (up to 400Gbps) with short delivery times to customers requiring high-capacity communications in long-distance sections from Osaka to major cities across Japan, such as Tokyo and Fukuoka, as well as to landing stations connected to international submarine cables .
