Founded in 2022, Space Quarters builds modular robotic systems. These systems build large structures in space. They tackle problems with ready-made launches. They also cut costs and support valuable infrastructure. The company has teamed up with Sky Perfect JSAT, JAXA, Obayashi Corporation, and IHI Aerospace. This partnership brings them closer to a commercial launch.
The new capital will boost the development team. It will improve testing facilities. It’s also preparing for on-orbit and lunar demonstration missions in 2027–2028. This follows successful ground-based proof-of-concept tests.
Space Quarters wants to change how we build in space. They aim to open new possibilities for construction in orbit and on the Moon.
