Aeronext Co., Ltd. has developed and announced a prototype of a new logistics drone equipped with “ActiveWing®,” a new technology that enables stable long-distance flight.
This prototype incorporates Aeronext’s new “ActiveWing®” technology and features a multi-rotor structure with ailerons to assist lift during flight, achieving longer flight distances and more efficient transport performance compared to conventional multi-rotor drones. It is being developed as a multi-use aircraft that can be utilized in a wide range of applications, primarily for logistics, but also for surveillance, inspection, and aerial photography.
Furthermore, this prototype incorporates Aeronext’s proprietary 4D GRAVITY® aircraft structure design technology to optimize aerodynamic characteristics. This improves the basic performance of industrial drones, such as stability, efficiency, and maneuverability, as well as enhancing transport capabilities for logistics applications.

This prototype was developed in collaboration with Eames Robotics Co., Ltd., and will be gradually deployed to drone logistics sites starting around the fall of 2026, including in areas where the new smart logistics system SkyHub® is being promoted by Aeronext and its subsidiary NEXT DELIVERY Co., Ltd. in multiple regions across Japan, as well as in demonstration experiments in various locations and at drone depots® operated by SPL (SkyHub® Provider License) operators.
In recent years, expectations for the use of drones in the logistics sector have been rising, but conventional multi-rotor drones face challenges in improving flight range, carrying capacity, and transport efficiency.
アエロネクスト has focused on optimizing aerodynamic characteristics in drone research and development, and has leveraged its technological capabilities to achieve flight performance that combines efficiency and stability, especially required for logistics drones.
This prototype is the latest model that thoroughly pursues aerodynamic characteristics as a result of this research and development, and incorporates Aeronext’s unique new technologies.
