Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. will begin offering “CYTIS Insight for Worker,” a problem-finding improvement support solution that utilizes object tracking technology to visualize work bottlenecks from the movement of people and things in logistics and manufacturing sites and support root cause analysis for on-site improvements, from July 9, 2025.
In recent years, the logistics and manufacturing industries have been faced with a worsening labor shortage known as the “2030 problem,” which has led to a demand for greater efficiency in warehouse operations and production processes. There is an urgent need to improve productivity with limited human resources, such as by promoting efforts to reduce work that relies on the experience and intuition of skilled workers.
The newly launched “CYTIS Insight for Worker” uses object tracking technology to automatically detect and visualize the work of people and the movement of objects on-site, thereby supporting analysis to improve work efficiency and contributing to increased productivity on-site.

パナソニックコネクト advocates a problem-solving approach to on-site improvement based on (1) visualization, (2) standardization, and (3) optimization, and “CYTIS Insight for Worker” supports (1) visualization, which is essential for on-site improvement, and (2) standardization of on-site work. Specifically, it uses sensing and object tracking technology such as image recognition AI to visualize the site, compares plans and results, and standardizes work by extracting issues.
The data is then used to provide feedback to the workplace through daily review activities and simulations, promoting strategy formulation and improvement activities based on actual conditions on the ground, thereby contributing to maximizing production efficiency.
