Ubie Inc. aims to ‘use technology to guide people to appropriate medical care.’ They just announced a major upgrade to their AI. This comes after joining the Mayo Clinic Platform_Accelerate program. Mayo Clinic in Minnesota runs the initiative. It helped Ubie improve its AI by evaluating performance with large patient data.
This collaboration took place through the HealthTech Gateway’s ‘AI Medical in the US’ initiative. It was led by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and worked with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Ubie used the program to enhance its AI model. The evaluation results showed big gains in accuracy and reliability.
The program provided access to de-identified medical data from more than 10 million Mayo Clinic patients. This large dataset was key in improving the AI’s performance. Diverse data is crucial for advancing medical technology.
