ShiftPlus Inc., in collaboration with Miyakonojo City, has integrated the Gemini 2.0 Flash image generation model into its generative AI system for municipalities, Municipal AI zevo. This system, designed for use within Japan’s LGWAN environment, already supports leading AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, and now gains enhanced functionality with the addition of image generation capabilities.
Previously focused on improving the efficiency of administrative tasks like document creation, Municipal AI zevo will now support visual content generation—enabling local government employees to create illustrations for newsletters, internal documents, and presentation materials with ease and flexibility.
The Gemini 2.0 Flash model allows images to be generated directly from textual prompts, offering a highly responsive creative tool. With a wide context window of 32,768 inputs and 8,192 outputs, it is equipped to manage detailed and nuanced instructions. The model’s knowledge is current through August 2024, ensuring relevant and timely content generation. Users can also generate up to 10 images per prompt, providing a range of visual options to choose from.
