リコー、自治体向けAIサービス「デジタルバディ」を提供開始

Ricoh Japan has introduced a new lineup of its generative AI solution, ‘RICOH Digital Buddy,’ specifically designed for local government use. Available from September 19, 2025, the new offering, ‘RICOH Digital Buddy Standard for Local Governments’ and ‘RICOH Digital Buddy Advanced for Local Governments,’ are built to operate within the secure LGWAN environment, enabling local public organizations to leverage AI safely without storing or using input data for training.

このサービスは、登録された規制文書や内部文書を利用して、問い合わせに対する回答を自動生成するもので、従来は電話や電子メールでの問い合わせに対応していた政府職員の作業負担を軽減します。また、計画書や報告書などの大きな文書を要約することも可能。これにより、職員は重要な情報を素早く見つけることができ、業務効率が向上します。

The system offers a pay-as-you-go model with affordable caps. It’s made to help municipalities dealing with labor shortages, particularly in rural areas. A trial version allows agencies to evaluate its usefulness before full deployment.
