MUFG Bank has introduced “iRolePlay,” an interactive training service using AI. This service aims to develop human resources who can continue to learn independently and foster a culture of independent learning and mutual support. SCSK announced this on September 8th. iRolePlay is an AI role-playing solution developed by Interactive Solutions. SCSK signed a domestic agency agreement with the company in July 2025 and is currently developing solutions primarily in the financial industry. MUFG銀行 is primarily using the service for its sales representatives, enabling interactive training with AI “anytime, anywhere” instead of traditional face-to-face training.
Furthermore, the “Question and Answer Mode” allows employees to complete self-learning from basic knowledge about financial products to output, contributing to the early implementation of inexperienced sales staff, as well as new and mid-career hires. The bank has long positioned role-playing between sales representatives and their superiors/business instructors as an important human resource development method, but finding time for both parties had been an issue.

Currently, the bank is promoting corporate transformation using AI across the entire bank, and by introducing iRolePlay in the field of human resource development, it aims to enhance its development methods and maximize the effectiveness of interpersonal role-playing. Going forward, the bank plans to gradually expand the use of iRolePlay as a practical learning tool, focusing on new graduates and mid-career recruits. Furthermore, by digitally archiving the sales knowledge of talented personnel scattered across its branches as iRolePlay courses, the bank hopes to realize human resource development that brings together headquarters and branches.
