This special website organizes the connections between demand for large-scale capital investment totaling approximately 5 trillion yen, encompassing not only construction, factory infrastructure, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, but also key equipment, components, materials, maintenance, and operation, into 35 demand areas.
We also plan to officially release a corporate database containing information on companies related to each demand area. This special website is accepting pre-registrations ahead of the official release of the corporate database.
On August 27, 2026, Kioxia and SanDisk announced plans to invest a total of approximately 5 trillion yen in Japan by 2032 to continue building production facilities, strengthen related infrastructure and technology at their Yokkaichi and Kitakami plants.
