レイヤーエックス Inc. announced the launch of the AI agent function “AI Detail Journal Entry” for its cloud-based invoice receiving service, “Bakraku Invoice Receipt.” Bakraku Invoice Receipt is a cloud-based invoice receiving system that enables zero-manual invoice processing through invoice-specific AI-OCR and seamless integration with accounting software. It automatically generates journal entry data and transfer data, and is also compliant with legal regulations such as the Electronic Bookkeeping Act and the invoice system. The “Bakraku” series already offers a journal entry learning function called “AI Journal Entry Recommendation.”
However, this function primarily complements past journal entries for each client. For invoices with different detail lines and journal entry content, master information such as account items and amounts had to be manually entered. The newly added “AI Detail Journal Entry” is an AI agent developed to solve this issue. AI reads the invoice detail information and combines it with past data to automatically enter the optimal journal entry. Its unique feature is that it not only reads the detail information but also allows for a one-stop process from there, from there to journal entry creation. This reduces the amount of work required to process invoices with different account items or departments each time, or invoices with many lines that require manual input of amounts.

For example, it is expected to improve efficiency in transactions that require the input of many journal entries, such as transportation and electricity bills, where expenses from multiple locations are received on a single invoice. In addition, the system is equipped with a mechanism that allows the AI to learn journal entries as it processes invoices and automatically improves accuracy, so unlike general journal entry completion functions, there is no need to maintain journal entry rules.
