アクル has expanded its partnership with Paygent, to launch the ASUKA Payment CV Optimization Service, a bit of a solution meant for e-commerce operators to lift payment completion rates yet still keep solid fraud protection. This launch lands right when merchants are dealing with tougher security expectations, like EMV 3-D Secure, and yes that sometimes leads to higher checkout abandonment, especially when people run into authentication hiccups or simple input errors.
The new offering basically brings in two main things. First, there’s a dashboard for merchants, so they can see payment approvals, identify error patterns and even notice card issuer trends. With that insight they can spot what’s really blocking conversions, and ultimately revenue. Then there is a payment optimization engine, which automatically corrects and refines payment data before it is processed, which in turn reduces authentication failures and pushes the system toward successful transactions.
And if a customer’s payment doesn’t go through, the system also makes clear the actual cause of the failure, like whether its connected to the card details, an expiration date problem, or even the security code. So instead of dropping out mid checkout flow, users get practical guidance and fix things fast, which makes the overall purchase experience feel more effortless.

Akuru and Paygent say, that their partnership shifts payment safety beyond simple fraud prevention, and then they use transaction data to, boost sales performance. In the future, both firms plan to reinforce this collaboration so it can help online merchants reduce lost sale chances, lift payment approval rates, and keep the checkout moving smoothly. All of that, of course, while not compromising security too much.
