Toyo Technica Corporation has decided to introduce the “IQM Radiance” superconducting quantum computer manufactured by IQM Quantum Computers, a company that deploys quantum computers globally, and has placed an order for it.
This marks the first introduction of an IQM quantum computer in Japan. Through this introduction, Toyo Technica will not only promote the sale of quantum computers but also contribute to the world’s leading social implementation of quantum technology in Japan by developing use cases for research purposes, expanding opportunities for use including cloud services, and training personnel through hands-on experience with actual equipment.
Toyo Technica entered the quantum solutions business in July 2025 by signing a domestic sales agency agreement with IQM, a company that develops quantum computers globally.

In our activities aimed at the social implementation of quantum technology, customers considering the use of quantum computers have expressed needs for things like demonstrations using actual equipment before deployment, research on integration with HPC (High Performance Computing), paid cloud usage, algorithm development using actual equipment, and human resource development.
To meet these needs, we have decided to introduce the “IQM Radiance20,” a high-end 20-qubit expansion model available for proof-of-concept testing. It will be deployed for use in both on-premise and cloud environments. The sales agreement between the two companies was signed in April 2026, and the order has been placed. Delivery is scheduled for the end of 2026.
Toyo Technica will continue to collaborate with global partners to promote the creation of use cases for quantum computers and quantum sensing, the development of new business models, and human resource development, thereby advancing the social implementation of quantum technology in Japan.
