Scope Co., Ltd. has signed an expansion agreement with Amakusa City and is setting up a new base called the ‘Amakusa Activation Center.’ The move is straightforward. They are planting a local hub to handle web marketing and system development, instead of running everything remotely.
The new center will operate out of ASUKAMA WORKS STATION and is expected to go live in April 2026. Work here will not be limited to just development. It will cover video production and broader advertising planning as well, which shows they are aiming for a full-stack digital setup.
From Scope’s side, the messaging is about using their existing know-how and putting it to work locally. The focus is on contributing to regional growth while building out their own capabilities at the same time.

At a basic level, this is a regional expansion move. The company currently develops its operations through establishing smaller distributed hubs rather than building all its facilities in large urban centers. Amakusa gets more activity and jobs. Scope gets a new base to scale from.
