DX Research Institute Co., Ltd., part of the Daisei logistics group, has launched CrewCompass to external companies after testing it across its own operations. The pitch is simple. Fix broken 1 on 1 communication before it turns into resignation letters.
In logistics, managers handle large, dispersed teams. Schedules rarely align. Internal surveys showed fewer than 20 percent of managers felt they were conducting meaningful face to face 1 on 1 meetings. CrewCompass steps in before those meetings happen.
Employees interact monthly with an AI via smartphone for 5 to 15 minutes. The system guides structured conversations which it uses to create response summaries and perform sentiment analysis together with keyword analysis and detection of initial warning indicators which show either disengagement or harassment. Employees control what gets shared upward. Managers receive organized reports by site and department, along with suggested next steps.

The service has been deployed to roughly 3,000 field employees across four group companies since July 2025. Reported results show a 4 percent drop in turnover and over 80 percent of managers saying they better understand their teams.
The bigger signal is this. AI is not replacing human dialogue. It is becoming the filter that makes it harder for problems to stay invisible.
