Timee Co., Ltd has established an extensive partnership agreement with the local government and three organizations which include the Tsukubamirai Chamber of Commerce and the Tsukubamirai Social Welfare Council and the Tsukubamirai Tourism Association. Timee Co. Ltd established its first partnership agreement with a local government agency in Ibaraki Prefecture through this contract.
Tsukubamirai City sits in a rare position for Japan. Population growth continues, supported by development along the Tsukuba Express line, while rural landscapes and new urban zones around Miraidaira Station coexist. Commercial and industrial expansion is underway, and at the same time, the number of child raising and elderly households is rising. Growth is visible. So is the pressure beneath it.
Due to labor shortages, the city has found things to be as the same. Tourism and restaurants usually suffer during peak times. Manufacturing and logistics require stable staffing. Welfare and nursing care facilities lack support for peripheral tasks that keep operations running smoothly. Expansion without workforce stability creates strain.

The new agreement centers on using the part time job platform Timee to widen access to spot work across the city. The five parties will promote flexible staffing in tourism and commerce, create support roles in welfare facilities, and encourage people with qualifications to return to work. The aim is clear. Strengthen business continuity, enable diverse participation in work, and support sustainable local growth.
With this deal, タイム’s local government partnerships now extend to 37 prefectures and 75 municipalities nationwide.
