OKI has launched its Projection Assembly System in Thailand and Indonesia. The system is designed to support assembly and quality inspection work at factories. It uses projectors and cameras to guide tasks. This helps anyone do the work with the same level of quality, no matter their skill or language. This is the start of OKI’s push to expand its manufacturing digital transformation solutions globally.
Factories in Southeast Asia face big problems. High labor turnover, diverse workforces, and inconsistent quality are making things harder. Manual assembly work is especially tricky. The system is meant to solve this. It has multilingual support. Setup is simpler. You can see work status in real time. It cuts human error and makes training easier. Managers can track progress and look at data to improve processes.

The system comes from what オーキー learned in its own factories. More than 100 locations across Japan and other countries have utilized it. At present, local collaborations in Thailand and Indonesia will take part in setting up, operating, and servicing the project. The goal is to help factories standardize work, transfer skills, and boost productivity.
