Canon IT Solutions, part of the Canon Marketing Japan Group, has launched Armerial, a new series of supply chain management (SCM) support solutions aimed at improving efficiency in the manufacturing sector. The first two offerings, Armerial Purchasing Management and Armerial Inventory Management, will be available starting November 11, 2025.
The majority of manufacturing firms still depend on specific workflows and personal knowledge for their purchasing and inventory procedures. This results in lower efficiency, non-standard practices, and slow automation transfer out of this problem. Armerial was built to solve that. It is capable of connecting to various ERP platforms and providing digitally-based solutions that make procurement and stocks management easier while still being affordable for the implementation.
There are three different ways to set it up: Personalized, Regular, and Minimum, and users can make their selection based on the size and financial capacity of their business. The system manages everything from quote requests to order processing and inspections and includes a web-based EDI for direct supplier communication. For inventory, it tracks materials by lot across production phases, supports IoT integration to prevent shipment errors, and strengthens traceability by location.

キヤノンITソリューションズ plans to expand Armerial into other manufacturing areas over time, positioning it as a core brand under its AvantStage suite. The name ‘Armerial’ comes from the flower Armeria, symbolizing collaboration and empathy, values the company says reflect how its solutions work together to create shared value in manufacturing.
