Ricoh Japan Co., Ltd. has begun offering the “Construction System and Employment History Management Support Pack,” a solution that streamlines the creation of construction system management ledgers and employment history management tasks in the construction industry by linking Ricoh’s multifunction printers and commercial image scanners, the RICOH fi Series, with the EMPOWERING DIGITAL WORKPLACES (EDW) application and Kensetsu Systems Co., Ltd.’s cloud applications.
Construction companies are required to create a “construction organization ledger” for each construction project, including information on the construction organization, construction workers, and other information, and submit it to the client. Until now, paper filing was the norm, but with the revision of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s Common Specifications for Civil Engineering Works, there has been a shift to creating and submitting this data electronically. However, the time and effort required to scan and save documents of different sizes, such as purchase orders, order confirmations, and construction business licenses, one by one, has become a significant burden.

Furthermore, by linking information from “Construction Organization Cloud” to “KENTEM-CareerLog,” registration to CCUS is also streamlined. This unified support, from creating the construction organization ledger to managing employment history, contributes to improving productivity across the entire construction industry.
