CData Software Japan LLC, a provider of real-time data integration connectors, announced the launch of CData Connect AI, the world’s first managed MCP (Model Context Protocol) platform. Connect AI enables generative AI assistants and AI agents, such as Claude and ChatGPT, to securely access over 300 types of business data, including Salesforce, kintone, SAP, and Google Sheets, in real time.
This means that users can simply talk to their AI assistant of choice, and the AI will automatically gather the necessary business data, provide context to answer the user’s questions, create reports, provide insights, and perform business tasks.
The “invisible wall” to introducing generative AI in business
According to Kaonavi’s ” Survey on the Actual Use of Generative AI in Companies ,” the utilization rate of generative AI in business is 35.8%, and the use of generative AI is limited to areas with little business impact, such as writing emails and research and idea generation.

The following three challenges are cited as the main reasons why generative AI has not been widely adopted in business.
AI lacks context about business data
Current generative AI is incredibly smart, but to generate the right insights for our business, it needs to include not only public data on the Internet, but also our own company data as context. However, current AI does not know our data such as “last month’s sales,” “transaction status with Company A,” “sales trends and costs by product,” or “marketing activities,” and is therefore unable to provide insights based on that context.
Lack of AI connectivity to business data
Our business data is scattered across various business systems, such as CRM and ERP systems like Salesforce, Kintone, and SAP, and cannot be directly accessed by AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude, which business users normally use. While it is possible to upload Excel or CSV files directly to the prompt, this reduces interactivity and hinders their penetration into business operations.
AI Security and Governance Concerns
An S&P Global survey found that 42% of companies will abandon most of their AI projects by 2025 due to privacy and security risks ( S&P Global | 03/2025 ). Additionally, an Anaconda survey found that 67% reported delays to AI projects due to security concerns, with AI governance being the biggest barrier to adoption ( Anaconda “AI Model Governance” survey | 08/2025 ).
Connect AI solves the challenges of using generative AI
Connect AI is the world’s first managed MCP platform that solves these challenges and revolutionizes how business users utilize generative AI. With simple commands like “Get deals from Salesforce with a close rate of 50% or more this month,” ChatGPT and Claude automatically retrieve business data, generate analysis and insights, and support the next action.
The revolution brought about by the combination of generative AI and MCP
Connect AI’s MCP is like USB Type-C for LLMs (large-scale language models). This open protocol, developed by Anthropic, allows AI to connect to external services in a standardized way. Users simply speak to the AI assistant, and the AI automatically collects and analyzes the necessary information and executes tasks.
This makes it possible to perform complex data analysis across multiple systems simply by issuing natural language commands. Sales, marketing, finance, and other departments can now utilize data without specialized knowledge, and report creation tasks that previously took days or weeks can now be completed in minutes.
In addition, by combining it with AI Agent Builder, it is possible to have the AI perform these tasks on a regular schedule, such as at the end or beginning of the month, or to have the AI agent automatically perform these tasks as subsequent tasks when creating sales negotiations or estimates.
