Bank of Yokohama, part of the Concordia Financial Group, and Trust Co., Ltd. are starting a proof-of-concept (PoC) experiment. They will use Trust’s generative AI solution, Trust TLanP®. The collaboration aims to improve efficiency in developing, operating, and maintaining systems. This is the first time a regional bank will use Trust TLanP® for this purpose.
Regional banks in Japan are under pressure. They need to offer new financial services. This demand comes from changing customer needs and faster digitalization. Starting in April 2025, the Bank of Yokohama will boost its efficiency. They will focus on using AI and managing databases effectively. The bank joined forces with system integrators and fintech companies. This partnership helps it reach its goals. It also improves its IT strategy with new technologies. This led to a collaboration with Trust.
Trust TLanP® is a generative AI solution for financial institutions. It supports both ultra-upstream and upstream processes in system development. This includes defining requirements and design. The platform uses Trust’s knowledge in financial IT and generative AI. This helps create systems that are both efficient and accurate.
During the PoC, Trust TLanP® will help make design documents for in-house programs at the Yokohama Bank. Future plans involve looking into its use in outsourced business systems. The goal is to cut development costs and timelines. This will also enhance the system development process.
