Okayama Network, known locally as “oni Vision,” is a community-based cable television operator established in September 1983. It primarily serves the entire Okayama City area, Kumenan Town, and Misaki Town in Kume County. Its core business is multi-channel cable television broadcasting, offering a wide range of specialty channels in addition to terrestrial and BS digital broadcasting. Its community-specific channels independently produce and distribute useful information for local residents, such as Okayama news and event information. It also offers high-speed Internet connection services, ensuring a comfortable communication environment through its fiber optic network. It also offers affordable fixed-line (IP phone) services using cable television lines, helping to reduce communication costs. In addition to these information and communications infrastructure services, Okayama Network is a comprehensive, community-based information and communications service provider that actively contributes to the local community through activities such as cooperating with local events and disseminating disaster prevention information.

Through this strategic collaboration agreement with BBIX, BBIX’s cutting-edge network solutions and Okayama Network’s communications services are expected to dramatically advance the region’s network infrastructure. This collaboration will enable closed network connections to public clouds, nationwide OCX connection points, the Internet, and SaaS (Software as a Service). This will be an extremely secure communications environment created by combining Okayama Network‘s long-standing track record in providing regional information infrastructure with BBIX‘s extensive network technology. This robust foundation will enable us to provide a connection environment with high levels of security and flexibility to a wide range of sectors, including local governments, educational institutions, and enterprises.
