Sukedachi Co., Ltd., which operates one of Japan’s largest construction human resources matching platforms, has begun an initiative in collaboration with Daidan Co., Ltd. to support Daidan’s partner companies in securing human resources.
Japan’s construction industry is a huge industry, employing approximately 5 million people. However, chronic labor shortages have become a serious problem due to the retirement of on-site craftsmen due to aging, and a decrease in new young workers due to unimproved labor and management environments.
Recently, it has become difficult for small and medium-sized construction companies, which work with general contractors and subcontractors, to secure human resources through their own efforts alone, and it is said that the labor shortage will become even more serious if the situation continues. As a result, there are many efforts being made by general contractors to support their subcontractors in securing human resources.

Daidan has built strong partnerships with partner companies nationwide for many years in order to provide customers with safe, high-quality construction equipment. The association, which is made up of partner companies, is actively working to improve highly specialized skills through subcommittee activities, as well as to improve efficiency and labor-saving measures in response to the recent problem of labor shortages. In addition, we strive to improve our construction system and strengthen human resource development by reflecting the voices of the field through surveys of partner companies.
