NEC Platforms has launched two new communication systems: the UNIVERGE Aspire 6 for small to medium businesses and the UNIVERGE SV9700 for medium to large enterprises. These products boost workplace communication. They do this by improving scalability, integrating with cloud services, and supporting unified communications (UC) tools.
The Aspire 6 continues NEC’s strong tradition of reliability. It has advanced call management features, supports multiple carriers, and integrates seamlessly with the UNIVERGE BLUE cloud service. It offers a complete set of UC functions. This includes voice calls, chat, web conferencing, file sharing, and Microsoft Teams integration. Best of all, you don’t need any extra hardware. It also supports smartphone connectivity for internal calls, particularly benefiting sectors like eldercare.
The SV9700 is designed for big deployments like corporate offices and contact centers. It shifts traditional hardware functions, like three-way calling and announcements, into software. This improves energy efficiency and reduces maintenance needs. It also has built-in redundancy for reliability and business continuity. Plus, it supports cloud and AI integration. This starts with Softfront Japan’s AI voice bot, “commubo.””
