Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that its comprehensive smart home service, HOMETACT, has entered into a business partnership with DOORCOM Co., Ltd. , a manufacturer and seller of smart home equipment, with the aim of strengthening its facial recognition and smart intercom solutions.
As part of this initiative, Mitsubishi Estate will begin handling all facial recognition devices from Akuvox (Xiamen) Networks Co., Ltd. Furthermore, “HOMETACT” will begin linking with Akuvox’s facial recognition system, and the number of linked functions will be expanded sequentially.
Additionally, Invalance Co., Ltd., with which Mitsubishi Estate entered into a business partnership agreement in August 2025, has decided to adopt “HOMETACT” and Akuvox’s facial recognition smart intercoms as standard equipment for all units in properties scheduled for completion from fiscal year 2026 onwards, with installation planned for approximately 800 units (10 buildings) in fiscal year 2026*2.

Through this collaboration, Mitsubishi Estate will strengthen its “HOMETACT” smart intercom solution that utilizes facial recognition technology, and will also strengthen collaboration with DOORCOM’s solutions for condominium common areas and high-quality construction systems, aiming to further improve property value and promote the spread of smart homes.
