Soar Inc., a SAXA Group company that provides contract development and manufacturing services for organic light-emitting diode (OLED) devices, signed a consulting contract with OPERA Solutions Inc. on April 1, 2025.
With the conclusion of this agreement, Soar has decided to receive development support for organic electronics devices from OPERA Solutions. By utilizing existing technological assets and acquiring new technologies, we aim to increase the corporate value of Soar and the SAXA Group.
OPERA Solutions was established in November 2020 by researchers from the Kyushu University Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics Research (OPERA). Based on the technology and know-how accumulated in the cutting-edge organic photonics and electronics field, we support product development in organic device and electronics material related companies and conduct contract research including consulting. In August 2024, we established the East Japan R&D Lab within Soar’s facilities and are promoting the exchange of technical information.

Soar has been refining its OLED technology for about 30 years since it became the first in the world to successfully mass-produce OLED displays in 1997. By combining the technology that Soar has cultivated with the cutting-edge knowledge and knowledge of OPERA Solutions, Soar will accelerate the product development and acquisition of new technologies for organic electronics devices, thereby contributing to society.
