Highlanders, Inc., a robotics venture spun out of the University of Tokyo, began offering a beta version of its semi-domestic lightweight quadrupedal robot, “HLQ Air,” on the 1st of the 5th.
This product is compact and lightweight thanks to its unique design, and its features include functionality that can be expanded through software updates.
The small initial beta version will be provided primarily to domestic local governments, research institutes, infrastructure companies, etc. The official product version is scheduled for release in 2025.
