GMG TRADING Co., Ltd. announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a strategic business partnership with ABONMAX CO., LTD., a Taiwanese drone manufacturer. The two companies will jointly develop next-generation solutions centered around drones (UAVs) and aim to expand into the global market.
This partnership will cover a wide range of fields, including agricultural monitoring, patrol inspections of energy facilities, logistics and transportation, and defense and security, and will involve joint development of drone products and application solutions, with plans to prioritize expansion into major markets such as Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America.
The Japanese government plans to procure over 100,000 drones by 2026, and GMG will take advantage of this huge market opportunity to fully expand into the Japanese market through this partnership, focusing on locally rooted utilization and expanding business opportunities.

The two companies are currently in the pre-production preparation stage, with the first shipments of drones scheduled for delivery soon, followed by field testing and operational deployment. Concrete results from this partnership are expected to become apparent soon.
Going forward, we will continue to further integrate our technologies, actively participate in international exhibitions and establish demonstration fields, and work to expand our business through collaboration with local partners, thereby pioneering new markets in the drone industry.
