Logitec Corporation, a member of the Camcom Group that solves social issues related to “work” through business, has begun collaborating with Japan GLP Inc., a part of Ares Management Corporation. The company will link the matching between Japan GLP’s “GLP Concierge Floor Match” and Logitec’s warehouse database matching platform “Sabakeru” to strengthen solutions to the issues of space shortages and peak and trough periods in the logistics industry.
Due to the rapid growth of the e-commerce market and a shortage of logistics personnel due to the “2024 problem,” securing warehouse space has become an important issue for companies.
To address the challenges facing the logistics industry, Logitec provides a matching platform called “Sabakeru” that connects companies looking to rent warehouses with companies looking to rent them out. With over 1,000 registered warehouses, the company has helped companies utilize space flexibly to accommodate fluctuations in business demand and temporary expansion.
GLP Japan develops and operates approximately 180 logistics facilities across the country, and operates “GLP Concierge,” a one-stop service to help companies involved in logistics resolve a variety of issues, thereby promoting the efficient use of logistics facilities.
Through this collaboration, the two companies aim to combine their networks and technologies to further expand warehouse matching options across the logistics industry.
