Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a Group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., will begin discussions on collaboration in the field of maritime engineering with Finnish engineering consulting company Elomatic Oy. This collaboration is one example of the partnering promoted by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group. We will continue to develop partnerships globally, incorporating external knowledge through partnering, and delivering our technologies, products and services to more customers.
The signing ceremony for the Framework Agreement for Business Collaboration (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) was held on June 4th at Nor-Shipping 2025, one of the world’s largest international maritime exhibitions, being held in Oslo, the capital of Norway.
Through collaboration with Elomatic, one of the world’s leading marine technology consulting companies with strengths in digital tools and simulation technology, the two companies will mutually utilize their decarbonization and digital technologies to expand their maritime engineering services in the global market, primarily in Japan and Europe.
