INSOL-HIGH Co., Ltd., which builds an industrial platform specialized in humanoid robots, has signed a business partnership agreement with Yamazen Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturing trading company. Through this partnership, the two companies will promote a joint project aimed at the “social implementation of humanoid robots,” which will be the first of its kind in Japan, and will accelerate automation and productivity improvement in the logistics and manufacturing industries.
In recent years, amid a serious labor shortage and the need for more advanced logistics and manufacturing sites, the demand for automation using AI and robotics technology is rapidly expanding. However, current robot systems are mainly single-function types. Although they are specialized for transportation and picking, and are highly efficient, they cannot perform miscellaneous tasks other than the designated tasks, which makes them difficult to adapt to sites that require flexible responses.
Through this partnership, we aim to combine INSOL-HIGH‘s WES and logistics know-how for humanoid robots with Yamazen‘s automation know-how and sales network at production sites, and to implement humanoid robots that can be adapted to a variety of industries and workplaces.
