Dentsu Institute Inc., which realizes the evolution of companies and society through technology, is pleased to announce that it has signed a partnership agreement with TeamViewer Germany GmbH to provide the augmented reality solution “TeamViewer Frontline” and remote connection platform “TeamViewer Tensor” primarily to the domestic manufacturing industry.
Modern products such as smartphones and electric vehicles are becoming more functional and powerful as technology advances, while product development cycles are becoming shorter and more complex. In addition, the working-age population is steadily declining due to the declining birthrate and aging population, which has become one of Japan’s social issues.
As the environment surrounding the domestic manufacturing industry becomes increasingly severe, through this partnership agreement, Dentsu Institute aims to combine the core business systems, service lifecycle management (SLM) systems, product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and other systems it has been providing to the manufacturing industry for many years with TeamViewer’s extensive experience in remote connection, AR, and operational technology solutions to provide multifaceted support for the digital transformation of the manufacturing value chain.

In addition, by providing after-sales support based on the deep expertise and know-how in manufacturing that Dentsu Institute and TeamViewer have cultivated over many years, the companies will create an environment in which solutions can be actually put into practical use and utilized in manufacturing sites, and even improve productivity in the manufacturing process.
