Hyundai Motor Group introduced its new mobility software brand, “Pleos,” and announced plans to collaborate with global partners to strengthen the company’s in-vehicle app ecosystem at its developer conference, Pleos 25, held in Seoul.
At its inaugural Pleos 25, the Group took a major step towards evolving into a mobility tech company by revealing its plans to create an in-car app market and ecosystem based on the development of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) and next-generation infotainment systems.
During the keynote speech, Chang Song, President and General Manager of Advanced Vehicle Platforms (AVP) for Hyundai Motor and Kia, officially announced Pleos, the group’s new mobility software brand and technology platform.

During his speech, President Song Chang-hyun said, “In the rapidly evolving automotive industry, Hyundai Motor Group has been committed to developing SDVs since 2023. Starting with today’s Pleos 25, Hyundai will transform into a company that provides software-centric mobility experiences. Our ultimate goal is to realize cloud mobility, where all forms of mobility are connected through software on the cloud and continuously evolve over time. Pleos will contribute to creating a connected mobility experience that extends from a single car to a fleet, from hardware to software, and ultimately to mobility infrastructure and cities.”
