Spaceshift Inc. and VegaCosmos Co., Ltd., a geospatial technology company under the Vietnamese Vegastar Group, have entered into a strategic business partnership aimed at developing geospatial applications and technologies using satellite data.
The two companies will utilize SpaceShift’s satellite data analysis AI to provide data analysis services through VegaCosmos’ geospatial platform “GEOHUB” to meet the needs of Vietnam and its surrounding areas, such as environmental monitoring, urban planning, disaster risk reduction, and smart agriculture. GEOHUB is an open and modular data platform that provides satellite tools and APIs, and provides advanced remote sensing products and services to users in Vietnam and other regions. VegaCosmos is a co-creation partner of “SateBiz” (formerly SateLab), a satellite data business co-creation program launched by SpaceShift, and will utilize the SateBiz community in this collaboration to first demonstrate and introduce the technology to customers in Vietnam and Japan.
