Air Mobility Inc., which is developing a platform for safe and secure flying cars, and ARC AeroSystems Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on May 13, 2025 to advance the introduction of ARC’s vertical take-off and landing aircraft (such as the Pegasus P3) in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
eVTOL (e-flying cars), which are capable of vertical take-off and landing, are being developed in various countries around the world and are currently undergoing testing and certification processes, with operations expected to begin after 2026.
ARC already has a lineup of several aircraft, one of which, the Pegasus P3, is the first non-helicopter VTOL aircraft certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and we believe that it can be expected to be deployed in the market early. In terms of performance, it has several advantages over other eVTOL models, particularly reduced power consumption, improved safety, and reduced maintenance costs. In the future, both companies will also consider the possibility of utilizing and deploying the Pegasus P3 for emergency medical purposes in Japan.
