Herix Inc. is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic capital and business alliance with NYC Corporation to promote the use of AI in the early stages of M&A and startup investment.
Herix develops and operates tools to streamline due diligence using generative AI ( see here for services), and through this partnership, based on NYC’s investment knowledge, aims to streamline and enhance the initial consideration and screening of M&A candidates for buyer business companies. This will dramatically improve the accuracy and speed of decision-making in M&A and investment.
NYC has strengths in investing in and supporting business companies, and has investment and management know-how in a variety of industries. Through its partnership with Helix, NYC aims to qualitatively transform the entire investment consideration process by improving the accuracy and speed of judgments at the screening stage.

In recent years, while the need for transfers of small and medium-sized enterprises has increased in the business succession and M&A market, investors have been faced with a major challenge in terms of the time and human resources required for consideration. In particular, the initial consideration stage requires analog work as well as advanced specialized knowledge, placing a heavy burden on investors.
To address these issues, Herix and NYC aim to build a new system that uses AI technology to enable quantitative and reproducible screening and structure the selection process for candidate companies.
