NEC Orchestrating Future Fund, an ecosystem-based corporate venture capital (CVC) fund backed by NEC, has invested in Digitamize, Inc., a startup providing the AI employee platform “Supervity AI.” With this investment as an opportunity, NEC and Digitamize will begin discussions toward business collaboration in the area of promoting the use of AI, such as automating and enhancing corporate business processes.
The use of generative AI is rapidly progressing in promoting digital transformation in companies. In particular, in recent years, “AI Employees” (AI Agents), which are AIs that perform tasks like humans, have been attracting attention, with high expectations being placed on them for improving the efficiency of routine tasks, streamlining cross-company operations, and addressing the increasingly serious labor shortage. However, there are still issues that remain, such as integrating generative AI with company-specific data, establishing governance, ensuring user operability, and ensuring safety, which are key points in the full-scale introduction of AI Employees.
Digitamize offers “Supervity AI,” a platform that integrates the functions required for companies to actually operate AI employees, including an agent architecture that can understand business processes and connect with a variety of systems, a governance design for safely handling a company’s proprietary data, orchestration technology that enables AI employees to autonomously execute and coordinate tasks, and a transparent and explainable dashboard.
